  i took photos of the kids and my hubbys family from xmas and set it to when i'm 64 by the beatles.. i'm only going to keep it on public for the day, then i'm going to reset it to private.. .

  Awww thank you guys. It took me most of yesterday off and on to do it. But it was sooo worth it.

  Going through the photos and setting them to the music reminded me of how much fun the kids are!

  Needproof, ya know I used windows movie maker. I have been watching all these videos on You Tube and thought, ok, with all this windows stuff that came with the comp, there's Gotta be something on here. And sure enough there was.

  It's really cool and easy to use. I think once I get a better handle on this program I would like to upgrade it. My ultimate goal is to be able to create a documentary on the Special Olympics.

  dave and bikerchic: Did you catch where I placed that frame? "We will scrimp and save" This was his second year up there. We started with a star, but somehow Homie just sort of worked. Juniper wasn't too happy about it though at first. She kept saying NO you have to put a star up. Ohhh somehow, I think Homie will be a tradition for years to come.

  I wouldn't say that.

  I would say that you are just a genuinely kind person who cares about others and you spent so many years with this man, who is the father of your beautiful kids, so you Care about him Still.

  Natural remedies

  over the last year, i've been exploring the use of herbs and supplements...hey, i'm gettin' old, and i need all the help i can get!

  lol.

  so, here's what i've tried (in addition to general vitamin supplements like b, c, and some other selected minerals):.

  I am assuming you have a good book on herbal supplements. If not, Get One.

  A few years back, I did the herbal supplement thang.

  I ran into two problems:

  a) One of the herbal supplements I purchased to balance out hormones, I didn't research enough and come to find out they were intended for menopausal women. That does not fit my need and I found out I should have been taking a different one.

  b) The enormous abundance of vitamins and herbal supplements ended up messing up my body. I think, though, it was becuase rather then easing into it, I jumped into it.

  SO research it, if you haven't already, and if there is any way you can afford it, head out to a holisitic dr. One or two visits, might save you money and complications.

  First grrrrrrrr.

  Out, you have been one of The Most Tolerant and Patient ex's I have ever seen. Ever!! You have a hell of a lot of your plate right now.

  You said this:

  Now -- this is my question: To salvage ALL the furniture and appliances, getting movers in to bring the goods to storage, or just to salvage the piece of furniture I want, the bedroom set one of my daughters wants, and a few boxes full of memorabilia that remain there?

  You and the kids take what has sentimental value. Past that, I think Dave has a great idea, IF that could fly under these circumstances. Otherwise, take what you can get and let them evict his butt.

  This p***ed me off:

  that he was out of town next week (the receiver will act within the next 10 days), that he will stop paying the mortgage (because he cannot afford to pay that and another rent/mortgage somewhere new) should he be evicted, that I started all this and should put a stop to it, and that "we will not get any return out of the house in this manner."

  Ok, I really, really hope that you aren't buying into that BS. I can't believe he said that. I give you a ton of kudos for responding without ripping his head off. You both know how this all got started and if he forgot, you should remind him.

  i always tell my wife that her pocket books is nothing but a $200 garbage bag, what are some things found in a women's purse, what are some items that you find in women's purses.. interesting things or common things??.

  Are any of you aposates?

  i don't think i am an apostate, but do feel like one for being on these boards as we were always warned not to at the meetings etc.. i disagree with so many things they teach, the main thing is the blood issue....being a new auntie, i love my niece soooo much and if i were the only person that could save her, how on earth could i not?

  i'd be blood guilty for not saving her!!!!!

  that in my books, would be murder.. however, may be it's because i've only been away from the mtgs for a year, but i still think of it most days and although i feel i've made the right decision as nothing was making me happy in it, and obvioulsy my ex beating me and getting away with it.....i still feel a certain pull towards it and a kind of insane loyalty???.

  or, is it completely out of the question, and you know for sure that this life is it, and there is nothing else after.. maybe you believe that there is a possibility of eternal life, but you don't qualify..

  I think its pointless wasting any significant amount of time wondering what might happen after the end of this life, of which we can be sure of. Instead of wondering if something might happen after the party and then realising its all over and you didnt join in, much better to get involved as actively as possible on every level accessible.

  Some day's I could agree with this Crumpet. Other days, I really wonder. I think, though, you worded this really well.
